Hamilton Accies star gets eight stitches after injury as boss provides squad update ahead of Morton clash

Hamilton boss Stuart Taylor has revealed he expects midfielder Scott Martin to be available for selection on Saturday - despite the player needing eight stitches in his foot following an injury in the 2-2 draw at Arbroath last week.Martin took a heavy blow to his foot at Gayfield and hobbled off after 64 minutes to be replaced by Lewis Spence.It was a sore one that required medical treatment, but Taylor says Martin is determined to play his part this weekend when Morton come calling.He said: "Scott Martin got eight stitches in his foot after the Arbroath game, but there's no tying Scotty down."He always wants to get involved and be part of things, so it will take something quite special to stop him coming back."Asked about how the rest of squad was shaping up for the weekend, Taylor didn't want to give too much away, but he did add: "Miko [Virtanen] is still feeling his achilles.
