Kevin O'Hara is confident Hamilton can use their home advantage to swat the Wasps aside on Saturday and book their place in the Championship play-off final.Accies needed their striker to come to the rescue on Tuesday night after they trailed Alloa 2-1 heading into the final 15 minutes of the semi-final first leg.

O'Hara and fellow ex-Wasp Euan Henderson netted either side of a quick fire double from the hosts, who scored through Taylor Steven and Kurtis Roberts within eight minutes of the second half.Accies now take them back to New Douglas Park with the game all square and O'Hara hopes home comforts will see them through to a shootout for promotion against either Inverness Caledonian Thistle or Montrose next week. The 25-year-old, who penned a contract extension with Accies last month to keep him at the club until 2026, said: "We started the game well, it was cagey which it’s always going to be like in pressure games like this.

I thought we played well in the first half, but they came out the traps and blew us out the water at the start of the second half for about 15 minutes.

We got settled, I scored midway through the second half which maybe gave us a bit of relief and we played our football."It’s a draw at half time in the tie and we go back to Hamilton knowing we need the win.
