Hallmark's 'Mystery 101' Franchise Officially Ends Despite Massive Cliffhanger

It’s official – Mystery 101 is over. Over the weekend, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries aired a marathon of the signature mystery franchise, which starred Jill Wagner and Kristoffer Polaha, and it was almost immediately afterwards that a network official replied to a fan on social media about the future of the series. Keep reading to find out more… Following the most recent, and now final installment, of the franchise, Hallmark had shared a picture of Kristoffer as Det.

Travis Burke to Facebook, where fans flooded the post, sharing their want of more movies. However, a spokesperson delivered the sad news that the franchise was over. “We loved making Mystery 101 and we’re so glad you enjoyed sleuthing along with us,” they replied. “We want to let you know that our talented sleuths have solved the last mystery and are off the case.” The spokesperson then added that “in the coming weeks and months there are exciting new mysteries on the way that we know you’ll love!” Following the news, Kristoffer shared his disappointment with fans about the final decision regarding the signature mystery. “Well kids, looks like the cat’s out of the bag. #Mystery101 has solved its last mystery,” he wrote. “You are the most incredibly supportive fans ever!

We LOVE you! @JillWagner @robinthomas101 & I had the most amazing time entertaining you by bringing Travis, Amy, & Graham to life.” However, Kristoffer then ended his tweet with a “But…” and a wink face – so does this mean something more is coming, like a spinoff?
