Popstar Justin Bieber has revealed that he has a medical condition that has caused paralysis in half of his face.The 28-year-old singer has already had to cancel shows on his Justice World Tour due to the condition called Ramsay Hunt syndrome.On Instagram, he gave fans an update on the condition, providing a reason for the cancellations.The Baby star said: “Hey everyone Justin here, I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on.“Obviously as you can probably see with my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.”He said, “obviously my body is telling me I’ve got to slow down”, and added that the condition is “pretty serious”.During the clip, he tried to give a blink and a smile but was unable to do so.
He even tried to flare the nostril on that side of his face, but again couldn’t.Addressing the disappointment of fans who were heading to the shows, he said: “So for those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just physically obviously not capable of doing them.
This is pretty serious, as you can see, I wish this wasn’t the case.“But obviously my body is telling me I’ve got to slow down and I hope you guys understand.”Before the latest video, Bieber had said that he was having to cancel some shows in the 130-date tour for “non-Covid related illness.”Writing at the time, he said: “Can’t believe I’m saying this.
I’ve done everything to get better but my sickness is getting worse.“My heart breaks that I will have to postpone these next few shows (doctors orders).
