Hairdresser shares 'wince-inducing' comment clients should avoid saying at appointments

A leading hairdresser has shared some of the things he hates to hear from clients - including the comments you should never say during an appointment.Senior colourist Luke Gregory has revealed the comments that make him "wince" and should be avoided at all costs.

Speaking to The Mirror he said he never wants a client to say "we can always change it back", meaning customers should always be sure.

Luke, who works at SALON64 in London, said: "This is a phrase clients say often that makes me wince. You should never go in with this as your starting idea or as a caveat.

If you're unsure, maybe it's the right colour but certainly the wrong time."He went on to say that the same applies to people who tell him they hope their friends, family or significant other will like their new look.He said: "You're doing it for you, not for them.
