Instagram page was wiped by hackers who took over her account. Naomi Clarke, 28, said it felt like losing her identity when her page @naomibouncyblows, which had 37,000 followers, was erased.
The mum-of-one used her account to find clients, film videos and build up her reputation as a hairdresser in Prestwich. She said the page had been her only source of income when lockdown measures were introduced, and hair salons had to close.Three weeks ago, Naomi said she woke up to an email saying her Instagram account had been hacked, and she would have to pay $350 to release it.Screenshots seen by the M.E.N show several emails from what appeared to a foreign address, threatening to wipe and sell the page if she didn't pay the fee.Naomi received.
