The 23-year-old singer-songwriter picked up the award for Song of the Year for her song “I Can’t Breathe.” She was joined on stage by co-writer Tiara Thomas to accept the award. “That fight that we had for us in Summer of 2020, keep that same energy,” she said during the speech. H.E.R. beat a starry list of artists for the win in this prestigious category!
