Grand Theft Auto 5 voice actor Steven Ogg wants to return for GTA 6 – but only if Trevor is killed off.Trevor is one of the three main protagonists of Grand Theft Auto 5 and the wildcard quickly became a fan favourite.
However he’s also a volatile character. Shortly after he was introduced in the game, Trevor killed GTA 4: The Lost And The Damned protagonist Johnny Klebitz.In a new interview with Screen Rant, Ogg said he’d be up for returning to the Grand Theft Auto franchise as Trevor. “It would be fun if Trevor appeared in it just to be killed at the beginning,” he said. “I think that would be cool, because it also acknowledges the fans of like, ‘Hey, thank you.’ Pass the torch, stomp Trevor’s head in, and sort of put an end to that and allow a new generation to take over.”Ogg went on to say that he hasn’t been asked back as Trevor, so it’s unlikely he’ll actually appear in Grand Theft Auto 6 as the game is due for release later this year.Instead, Grand Theft Auto 6 will see dual protagonists Lucia and Jason take to the streets of Vice City in a Bonnie & Clyde-inspired story.Last week, it was reported the eagerly anticipated game could cost $100 when it launches but according to a number of industry experts, it’s unlikely that developers Rockstar Games will hike the price up. “GTA 6 is going to be a cultural phenomenon and could bear a $100 price point, but player backlash would be significant, and that would be a short-term gain at a long-term cost.
