A group of mum spent an 18-hour trip to Milan for only £102 and were able to get home in time for the school run. Laura Oduntan, 37, and her friends Jade Bassett, 33, Remi Pedro, 37, and Agnes Adekunle, 38, wanted to upgrade their usual Nando's meet-up by going on an extravagant yet affordable spa day.
Laura, a mum of two girls – aged three and six – suggested the QC Terme spa in Milan, Italy, to her friends. The mums flew via easyJet from Gatwick Airport at 6.20am on £62 return flights and landed at Milan Malpensa Airport by 9am.
The four women took the train into Milan to get lunch and then headed to the spa where they relaxed for three hours.
