He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Grieving Scot slams Downing Street party after having to watch brother take final breaths on FaceTime

A grieving woman has hit out after learning Downing Street held a BYOB drinks party days before she had to watch her brother take his final breaths on FaceTime.

Police are probing claims an aide to the Prime Minister organised an event on May 20, 2020, which is said to have been attended by Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie.

Jenni Lang, from Edinburgh, told the Daily Record her brother Graeme Wilkie was in intensive care fighting for his life on that same day.

She watched on in a Facetime call just three days later as he died - but a limit on visitor numbers meant she was not allowed into the hospital to be by his side.Jenni said: “They were telling us to stick to the rules but they thought it was OK to have a party."We couldn’t comfort one another but they’re having cheese and wine in the garden.
