Gregg Wallace has apologised for “any offence that I caused” after posting a video saying complaints about his behaviour came from “a handful of middle-class women of a certain age”.

It comes after the MasterChef presenter faces a number of allegations that he made 'inappropriate sexual jokes' while on a number of shows spanning 17 years.

Wallace sparked outrage after he posted a video on his social media addressing the accusations. In it, he said: “I can see the complaints coming from a handful of middle-class women of a certain age, just from Celebrity MasterChef.
