Greenrigg Nursery make donation to Australian bush fire relief effort

Children at Greenrigg Nursery have become koala protectors.Before lockdown, the children decided to help the cause when they heard about the bush fires in Australia and began discussing some of the animals that might be affected.The school’s pupil support worker mentioned that WWF were doing fundraising for the koalas and the children then drew some fantastic pictures of the fires and the koalas which were displayed in the parents area.A school spokesperson said: “We looked at where we live and where the koalas live on the globe.
