Green Man Festival 2022 announces its 20th anniversary line-up

Green Man has announced the first wave of acts to play its already sold-out 20th anniversary event. Among the headliners appearing at the popular bash in the Brecon Beacons are German electronic music legends Kraftwerk, acclaimed UK singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka, Baltimore pop duo Beach House and eclectic dance-rockers Metronomy.

The event will also showcase its usual mix of homegrown and international talent, from Carmarthenshire's Cate le Bon and the psychedelic country of Cardiff's Melin Melyn to US favourites such as Parquet Courts, Low, Ty Segall and Ezra Furman. Read more: The best pictures from Green Man 2021 Also travelling to the Black Mountains from across the globe will be Senegal’s iconic dance band Orchestra Baobab, Niger’s Tuareg songwriter and musician Mdou Moctar and Grammy-nominated Brooklyn-based Pakistani vocalist Arooj Aftab.

Also on offer will be various food and drink stalls, art installations, comedy, literature, chill-out areas and workshops. Tickets for this year’s festival sold out just in two days after being released back in September 2021.
