Greece has said it WILL allow visitors in from the UK in mid-June despite previously saying they were banned. The Mediterranean hotspot is opening back up to tourists from June 15, and now the UK is included in a phased two-tier system.
Clarifying a previous statement that said residents from just 29 countries had been selected to enter, the Greek government has confirmed it will resume flights from the UK to two of its major airports.
In a "bridge phase", flights will connect UK travellers to the capital of Athens and Thessaloniki - a port city in the north, before direct flights return to the mainland and island destinations as of July 1.
