Heavy rain is expected to fall on Manchester and around the North West - with a string of flood warnings in force. Areas including Warrington and the Lancashire coast have been hit by a number of flood warnings by the Environment Agency today (March 13).
It comes as the North West is braced for downpours throughout much of the day. The Met Office says Manchester will see heavy rain until 11am this morning.

I had no idea this would ever happen to me' Temperatures in the city are set to reach a high of 13C and a low of 10C. Similar rainy conditions are also forecast elsewhere in Greater Manchester, but temperatures could be slightly cooler away from the city, between 11C and 9C in some areas.
