Greater Manchester is set for a stormy Bank Holiday weekend as the clouds roll in - which could have an impact on Manchester City's plans for a bus parade on Sunday to celebrate its fourth successive Premier League title.
The Met Office forecasts that today (May 25) will remain largely dry across the north west, with some sunshine and temperatures reaching 19C.
But tonight will see a marked change, as the weather will turn cloudier through this evening with some patchy outbreaks of rain arriving from the southeast, becoming heavy at times overnight.
The forecaster predicts a cloudy start to Sunday with patchy outbreaks of rain through the morning around the north west region.
