May is a bumper month for bank holidays, with three Mondays off to enjoy instead of the usual two. The first three-day weekend is almost here, with the early May bank holiday on Monday May 1.
Unfortunately the weather forecast isn't looking too promising for Greater Manchester, with showers scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

Starting off dry but cloudy, Mancunians can expect to wake up to double figure temperatures of 10C on Saturday. It's worth making the most of the morning, as a spell of light rain will fall between 3pm and 7pm.
