GRAND Designs fans were left stunned by a stunning home transformation which took a whopping 21 years to complete. The Channel 4 show - which is hosted by Kevin McCloud - recently featured the incredible project.
The episode on November 9 introduced viewers to Sue and Martin, who started work on their old barn conversion back in 1999. The Devon-based project kicked off with a young Kevin being shown around the derelict barns, as Sue and Martin explained their vision.
They wanted to transform the buildings into environmentally friendly havens, whilst living in a tiny caravan on the property.
Like most of the projects seen on Grand Designs, their plans fell behind schedule, making this the longest ever gap between the initial build and a re-visit.
