A gran was left screaming and writhing in agony after being attacked on a family day out. Dorothy McIntosh was hospitalised after being set upon at at a funfair yesterday afternoon.The 79-year-old is now nursing a broken knee and bruises, which will see her unable to walk for at least six weeks, following the incident in a seaside town.She is said to have been attacked by a man who was there with carers, while she was enjoying a day out with her granddaughter and daughter, Amanda.Amanda is still in shock after witnessing her mother in agony after the attack and she and her sisters are now calling for answers as police investigate the incident.Wales Online reports South Wales Police have confirmed they are investigating and are going through CCTV footage to work out what happened.Amanda said her mum, from Bridgend, Wales, goes to the nearby town of Porthcawl, where the attack took place, most weekends.
