Grammy-winning singer Melissa Etheridge’s son dies aged 21

The Grammy-winning singer was due to host a virtual concert at home on Wednesday (13 May), but a rep confirmed this would no longer be going ahead due to the sad news. ‘We’re sad to inform you that Melissa’s son Beckett passed away and there will not be a Concerts From Home show today,’ read a message on her Twitter account.
A cause of death was not given. Melissa shared Beckett and 23-year-old daughter Bailey Jean with her filmmaker partner Julie Cypher.
