Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Grammy Museum Offers Free Online Programs With Billie Eilish, Brandi Carlile & More During Closure

Though the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles remains closed until further notice because of the coronavirus, the museum will debut never-before-released digital programs from its archives online for free starting Wednesday (March 18).

Billie Eilish, Bob Newhart, Brandi Carlile, Greta Van Fleet, Larkin Poe, Scarypoolparty, X Ambassadors and Yola are the first round of artists to be featured in the digital series, which features intimate interviews with artists and musicians in the Grammy Museum’s 200-seat Clive Davis Theater from past programs.
