‘Gossip Girl’ actress Chanel Maya Banks files restraining order against mom one month after going ‘missing’

refuted her family’s claims that she had gone missing last month, has reportedly filed a restraining order against her mother and cousin.

Banks, 36, submitted the restraining order request in a Los Angeles court on Thursday, according to TMZ. Per the outlet, the actress’ filing alleges her mom, Lutchmin Judy Kumar, and cousin, Danielle Singh, have worked in tandem to harass her and destroy her credibility.Banks claims she told Kumar and Singh in October that she wanted distance from them but that the pair have repeatedly attempted to make unwanted contact with her.

The “Blue Bloods” star also states that her mother and cousin reported her as a missing person to Los Angeles police and asked officers to perform a wellness check on her.

After Kumar and Singh allegedly continued their attempts at contacting Banks, the actress’ husband, Carlos, reportedly informed them that she was fine and didn’t wish to speak with either of them.
