Fans will know that the Spanish dancer has had a busy few months working on the hit dance show, which kept him away from his Greater Manchester home alongside Gemma and their children - Mia, five, and one-year-old Thiago.
Gorka competed in the hit dance show with Morning Live star Dr Punam Krishan. Punam was based in Glasgow and Gorka temporarily moved to Scotland while they competed in Strictly's 2024 series, while also travelling to London each weekend for live programmes each week.
Gorka did briefly return home following his and Punam's exit from the competition during the Halloween special weekend, however, Gorka then went back on the move again as it was recently confirmed he'd be taking part in Strictly's Christmas special after fellow pro dancer Carlos Gu had to pull out as he suffered an ankle injury.
