Gordon Ramsay is taking on an exciting new project. On Thursday (September 21), the 56-year-old chef and TV personality told People that he was working on a new show for Fox inspired by his iconic “Idiot Sandwich” meme. Keep reading to find out what else he said about the show… Gordon shared that he’d begin filming for the series – which will be titled Idiot Sandwich – in November.

The meme comes from a 2015 parody skit he appeared in for The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he put two pieces of bread on either side of Julie Chen Moonves‘ face. “What are you?” he asked her, to which she replied: “An idiot sandwich!” Gordon told People that in the years since the clip was released, the meme has “gone ballistic.” He added, “Wherever I go, there’s some young kid somewhere that wants to be called an ‘idiot sandwich.’” He shared more details about the show on his Instagram Story on Tuesday when he posted an application form for the series. “Are you an Idiot Sandwich?

If so, can you prove it to me live?” he said in the clip, adding that “you don’t need to be a chef to apply.” Gordon also recently got candid about life as a dad.
