ok.co.ukGood Morning Britain star Susanna Reid has explained she was forced to go into self-isolation after her son began coughing, which is one of the symptoms of the coronavirus.The news anchor, 49, spoke to Piers Morgan and Charlotte Hawkins from her home via a video link to speak about her decision to self-isolate for 14 days.
During the show, Susanna revealed she wasn’t showing any symptoms, and before the government advice was issued yesterday she would have gone into the studio to host the programme alongside Piers, 54.
But, the new advice means the GMB host will need to self-isolate as her son has a cough – as the government has suggested entire households should be put into quarantine if someone in the house shows symptoms.
