Showbiz reporter Richard Arnold laughed his way through a hilarious blunder on Good Morning Britain - which left him so embarassed he said we would 'leave' the show.

As his segment began on Wednesday 5 June, Richard chatted about the trailer for Bridgerton season three part two - which teases the continuing love story between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.

As the clip came to an end, Richard continued to say, “and just to wet your Ladydown Whistle'' - rather than Penelope’s real pen name, Lady Whistledown.

As Richard corrected himself, Susanna Reid couldn’t help but laugh hysterically. Richard added: “Well that’s out there forever!” before joking, “I’ll leave now.” Meanwhile co-presenters Susanna and Martin Lewis continued to giggle off-screen.
