The political editor, 43, is said to be in negotiations with the channel as her current contract is due to end in the new year.
But insiders have claimed her growing popularity on the BBC dance show has put ITV on the back foot as bosses fear she’ll be inundated with more lucrative offers from other broadcasters.
A source has suggested that Ranvir is “bigger than standing on Downing Street in the rain in the early hours of the morning now,” according to MailOnline. “She has shown her true self on Strictly and is now quite the star,” they told the publication.
