deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Good Deed Entertainment has acquired U.S. rights to the indie comedy That’s Funny, written, directed by, and starring Alex Grossman.
Co-starring Ben Cain (Cruel Summer), Melanie Hutsell (Saturday Night Live), and Nicole Forester (Jack Reacher), the film arrives on Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, and Vudu on November 17 before opening in select theaters December 7.
That’s Funny centers on a middle-aged man (Grossman) so driven to realize his dream of becoming a comedian, he’s missing out on all the beautiful moments already before him.
On his journey of transformation, he returns to the competitive world of stand-up comedy that takes him from Los Angeles to his hometown of Flint, Michigan.
