deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Gomorrah star Salvatore Esposito is the latest name to join English-language sports car biopic, Maserati: The Brothers, which is now filming in Italy.
Michele Morrone, Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, Jessica Alba and Tunisian actress Maya Talem — another new joiner — are also starring in the film about the brothers behind the iconic Italian car.
Pic is being produced by Italy’s Andrea Iervolino for his new film and TV outfit called The Andrea Iervolino Company and directed by Oscar winner Bobby Moresco (Crash).
Filming will take place from today at Rome’s Cinecittà studios, Modena and Bologna. Maserati was founded in 1914 in a garage in the central Italian city of Bologna by three brothers: Alfieri, Ettore and Ernesto.
