He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Gok Wan has raised £30,000 for charity by shaving his head live on TV in honour of one of his young relatives who is undergoing chemotherapy.

During an emotional segment, the fashion guru explained to This Morning viewers that his cousin's 12-year-old daughter, Alyssa, has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Gok then revealed that he would be shaving his quiff off live on air to raise money for the Young Lives Vs Cancer charity. The star admitted he was feeling nervous at the beginning of Thursday's episode, as he explained his plan to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

As a picture of Alyssa – who has shaved her head – appeared on screen, he said: "Alyssa wants to make it very clear that actually short hair can be cool.
