As the telly-watching stars geared up for a night settled in on the sofa, fans weren't prepared for a number of scenes showing the best bits from the latest popular hits.
There were moments from Strictly Come Dancing, the new season of Sex Education, and the first episode of the Great British Bake Off, which now features Alison Hammond as a presenter.
Scenes from Blankety Blank were also shown during the latest episode. Sharing their annoyance on X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers took the opportunity to vent that Gogglebox had inadvertently ruined some of their favourite shows. "I know the ending now though….
