Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker's posh hotel shut with debts of almost £2million, it's claimed. The reality TV stars closed their £5million hotel, The Salutation in Kent, in January when it went bust, with 33 workers sent home.
A report by liquidators sent to Companies House shows it has debts of £1.8million, The Sun reports. The debts included £1.4million owed to "investors", £88,000 in unpaid taxes, £114,000 in staff wages and the rest owed to creditors for supplying food, drink and services to the hotel.
It has assets worth just £10,917, including £1,771 in cash, £1,700 in stock like booze and £6,300 in catering equipment. Steph and Dom have owned the Grade 1-listed mansion since 2004.
