A police custody detention officer has been arrested on suspicion of sexual offences, Greater Manchester Police has revealed.
The officer, who is based at Bolton police station, was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of sexual touching, misconduct in public office and cyber-flashing.
It's not a police officer role, but a police staff role. The custody detention officer, who hasn't been named, is currently on conditional bail after questioning and has been suspended, GMP added.
The force said police watchdog the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has also been made aware.
