Ben Shephard is recovering in hospital after injuring his leg in a football match. The Good Morning Britain presenter had to have surgery after rupturing his ACL, tearing his meniscus and fracturing his leg during a football game but he is on the road to recovery.

However, he admits it will be a "long" and "slow" process to get back to full health. Ben spent the night in hospital after the surgery but updated fans to say he is recovering well. "So they've repaired the ACL and meniscus and now starts the rehab - very slow, long, rehab.
