Inspectors have rated adult cares services in Bolton which provide rehabilitation for people in their own homes as ‘good’ in all areas.
Bolton Council’s adult social care home support reablement service has been awarded the positive rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The recent inspection reaffirms a good rating awarded in 2017. Council leaders said the rating was achieved under ‘extremely difficult circumstances’ and called for the government to deliver on promises about social carereform ‘as a matter of urgency’.
Bolton Council said high standards had been achieved against a backdrop of the pandemic, rising costs, an ageing population and limited government funding.
