Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Glen Kamara 'a Marseille transfer target' as Rangers star catches the eye in France

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has "caught the eye" of Ligue 1 giants Marseille - according to a report. The Finland international is believed to have crossed boss Andre Villa-Boas' radar during Euro 2020 qualifiers.

A £50,000 arrival from Dundee in January 2019, the 24-year-old has become a key man for Steven Gerrard, making 39 appearances this season.

France Football report Marseille's interest but say the club would have to sell before making a move due to football's current perilous financial position.It's claimed the club estimate Kamara could cost €8million.
