Glee star Amber Riley has been filmed singing Beyonce’s Freedom at a protest following the death of George Floyd. The actress gave a moving rendition of the song at one of the protests in Los Angeles, after the public was left outraged by Floyd’s tragic death.

One protester introduced her by saying: ‘In the spirit of Harry Belafonte, and all those who use their platforms for justice and liberation, my buddy here Amber Riley, who I love dearly, is going to sing us into this march.’ Taking the mic, Amber told the crowd: ‘I need you all to clap and give me a beat, like a heartbeat,’ before giving a beautiful rendition of Bey’s song.
