A new Discovery+ docuseries is gearing up to show us what we really missed on Glee. Discovery+ teamed up with their House of Hammer collaborator ID to order a new series about the popular musical show, which became a favorite on air after debuting in 2009.
Glee‘s run spanned six seasons and ended in 2015. The currently untitled docuseries will air in three parts and be handled by Ample Entertainment, according to Deadline. Click inside to learn more about the project… The publication noted that various cast members are expected to participate and that the series won’t shy away from some of the show’s darker moments that took place off air.
Examples include the tragic deaths of Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera, and the child pornography charges against disgraced cast member Mark Salling, who died in 2018.
Although the show’s been off air for years, various members of the cast still interact. For example, one of the show’s stars recently dragged another.
