Glee documentary claims costar pressured Cory Monteith into drinking again before fatal relapse

Glee actor Cory Monteith died tragically from an overdose of drugs and alcohol in 2013 at the age of 31. A new docuseries, called The Price Of Glee, alleges the actor's relapse was the result of another cast member of the hit series about a high school glee club encouraging the singer to have a drink at a party.

The program, which will debut on ID and Discovery+ on Monday January 16, looks at Monteith's death in the first two episodes and features interviews with people who worked on the musical series as well as the Canadian actor's friends and former roommate.
