Glastonbury have been forced to hand out a free link to the Live at Worthy Farm concert following backlash from fans online.

The online festival came under fire when people who paid for tickets were left unable to view the lifestream when it started at 7 pm on Saturday night.

Issues arose due to technical issues and fans were furious when links being sent out were 'invalid.' Following hundreds of annoyed music fans taking to Twitter to fume about being disappointed at being unable to watch the online event the organisers decided to dish out a free link for all to use.

The announcement was made by Drift Live - the company who were tasked with producing and promoting the online live ticketed event.
