A couple attending this year's Glastonbury festival have glammed up to renew their wedding vows in tribute to the first time they met each other – at a music gig.
Lara Dayeh-Bunce, 30, and her husband, Elliot, 32, were able to have a renewal ceremony at The Church at Glastonbury tent on Saturday, six weeks after their marriage. The festival is not licenced to hold weddings so the pair had to improvise to get the ceremony of their dreams. The pair had glitter on their faces and Mrs Dayeh-Bunce donned a white dress and colourful flower-wreath tiara for the occasion, while Mr Dayeh-Bunce wore a jacket and t-shirt combination with denim shorts and a bucket hat.
To make it a ceremony they'll never forget, the pair had a mash-up of typical wedding clothing and their festival wardrobe. Lara wore a white dress and colourful flower tiara for the occasion, while Elliot wore a jacket and T-shirt combined with some denim shorts and an essential for any festival – a bucket hat.
Elliot is attending the festival for the 23rd time and had originally planned to propose to Lara at Glastonbury in 2020. But sadly the festival was cancelled by the Covid-19 pandemic.
