In an interview that same month with Radio X’s Chris Moyles, Crowe revealed that, up to that point, they were required to keep their booking a secret – which was not an easy thing for his band.“I got a group of musicians around me and they’ve been playing all of their lives,” he said. “For them to be playing at Glastonbury, they just wanted to tell somebody.
But they had to keep it secret.”For now, Crowe will soldier on with his band for a UK tour this week onwards. The Gladiator actor’s gigs will kick off at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin on July 1.
