A Scots park has been branded 'Ratland' after skin-crawling footage showed a historic site over run with pests in a plush neighbourhood.Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow has been invaded by the vermin, with a clip showing as many as 40 rates feasting on bird food left next to a duck pond at the West End visitor attraction.

Local resident Anna, filmed dozens of rates who can be seen swarming the area as they snack on the orange food left on the ground.

The mum has told our sister title Glasgow Live that she feels 'unsafe' taking her daughter to visit the Cyprus duck pond in the park.

She said: "I think when we first came there was a lady with gentleman holding back their dog who tried to jump over the fence.
