call centre worker claims his office was shut down after a co-worker tested positive for Covid-19 - just weeks after the premises re-opened.

The whistleblower said that the Kura contact centre in Swan Street, Glasgow was closed for an emergency deep clean after the worker went home and was later found to have the virus.

Around 30 workers were sent home and 10 staff at the office - which works on behalf of BT - are now being tested, according to the source.The source said: “We were told we could not work from home for some reason so we have all been back in for a few weeks now.

The social distancing hasn’t been great as people haven’t been keeping to it.“My co-worker was in and they just did not look well at all.
