Liam, who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2010, sustained "serious injuries that were incompatible with life", after falling from a balcony with an inquiry into his death still ongoing. Liam shared a son with bandmember Cheryl. The funeral is being kept as a private ceremony closed to the public so that his friends and family can pay their respects privately.
All former One Direction members are expected to attend including Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan.
