Girl rushed to hospital after being struck by car on Scots road

A child has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car on a Scots road. Emergency services raced to Whitburn Road in Bathgate shortly after 4pm this afternoon following a collision between a girl and a vehicle.

The youngster was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
