This is the incredible photograph of a girl clinging to the thumb of a rescue worker after being trapped under rubble for 65 hours.
The three-year-old was pulled from the debris of a collapsed building in Izmir, Turkey, today after the building collapsed in a 7.0-magnitude earthquake on Friday.
Elif Perincek's mother and twin siblings were also rescued two days before, although her brother died in the tragedy. Muammer Celik, the fireman who saved Elif, said the youngster grabbed hold of his finger as he cleaned the dust from her face.
The tot clung to him until they reached the first aid tent, where she received treatment before being rushed to intensive care.
