Giovanni Pernice has responded to one of his former Strictly Come Dancing partners' admissions about working with him. The dancer is no longer part of the BBC One dance contest following an investigation into his behaviour on the show.
He was cleared of the most serious allegations. The BBC apologised to Sherlock star Amanda Abbington as they upheld some of her complaints against her former dance partner during the 2023 series.
In a statement in September, the broadcaster said: "We have assessed the complaints and we have upheld some, but not all, of the complaints made.
We want to apologise to Amanda Abbington and to thank her for coming forward and taking part. We know this would not have been an easy thing to do."
