Giovanni Pernice addresses UK fans as he wins Italian version of Strictly
manchestereveningnews.co.ukFormer BBC Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has won the Italian version of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. Giovanni was declared winner of Ballando Con Le Stelle alongside Italian actress and singer Bianca Guaccero on Saturday night.
It comes months he left the UK in the wake of an investigation into allegations about his behaviour on the BBC show made by former dance partner Amanda Abbington.
Ballando Con Le Stelle is Italy's version of Strictly Come Dancing and the US spin-off Dancing With The Stars. Giovanni and Bianca have also recently confirmed they are now together, after falling for each other during training.
Taking to social media after the win, Giovanni shared a clip of himself and Guaccero shortly after they were crowned the winners, alongside a caption that reads “la coppia vince" (the couple wins in English).
