Giorgos Giakoumakis has revealed that his Parkhead move wasn't influenced by European nights and that the size of the club speaks for itself.
Celtic host Norweigan champions Bodo/Glimt in a huge Europa Conference League first leg tie on Thursday night. His manager Ange Postegoclou has already been open about his desire for Celtic to reach the final in Tirana in May.
When asked on the influence European football had on his summer move, Giakoumakis said: “I didn’t choose Celtic because of the European games.
It’s something extra. “I chose Celtic because it’s Celtic. It’s an amazing club.“It’s a big club with big targets every year but of course the European games are something that’s really special to us.
